Our Tide is pleased to announce the success of fundraising activities in 2025:
- Thanks to a £500 grant from Clevedon Town Council, we are able to continue with our successful programme of workshops. This grant has already allowed us to deliver a student workshop in November 2024 (also supported by Frazer-Nash Consultancy), and we have further workshops planned in June and October 2025.
- In a first for Our Tide, and in collaboration with Clevedon Pier, a business outreach event will be held on 25 September 2025. This will provide businesses with the opportunity to support the development of a community renewable energy hub on the pier. This builds on the high quality measurement campaign for tidal current speed carried out by Swansea University. This activity is made possible by a £500 community grant from Clevedon Climate & Nature Partnership.
- Clevedon Community Bookshop Cooperative continue their generous support to Our Tide, with a £500 grant which will be used to deliver a tidal energy themed public engagement event in autumn 2025.
